See the 1983 Ferrari 308 used in the TV series Magnum P.I., starring Tom Selleck. The show turned the already popular Ferrari 308 into an icon. This is demonstrated by the fact that the Ferrari 308 is still commonly referred to by casual admirers as "the
Magnum P.I. car." Three different years of the 308 were used during Magnum P.I.'s run, this was used in the last two seasons. The top was almost always off in the show because of Selleck's 6 ft. 4 in. height.
